When I say “toxin”, I simply mean a chemical or poison that is known to have harmful effects on the body. Toxins can come from food or water, from chemicals used to grow or prepare food, from the air that we breathe, and most of all STRESS! Stress also creates inflammation in the body that is directly related to the strength of your immune system.
It is imperative to take steps to reduce the stress on your body and help it rid itself of those harmful toxins. By doing so, your lymphatic system will not have to work overtime, and your immune system will function at a higher level. And all of this translates to better health, more energy and a better sense of sustained well-being.
Getting a massage or going to a spa are great ways to help reduce the stress in your body. But in reality, many find it difficult to make the time or maybe it is just not within your budget. Though visiting a spa on a regular basis may not be realistic for everyone, creating a spa-like environment in your own home is a great alternative for relieving stress and promoting detoxification.

Eucalyptus Shower
Take a steamy Eucalyptus Shower. Hang eucalyptus on your shower head, and the steam from the shower will release the beneficial oils. You could also simply drop 10-20 drops of eucalyptus essential oil to the floor of the shower.
In addition to promoting relaxation, eucalyptus is also known for its ability to fight viral and bacterial infections, as well ease congestion and symptoms of asthma by reducing inflammation.”
Getting massages everyday would definitely be the way to go. Unfortunately, most peoples wallets don’t like that idea. Or if you don’t already, consider getting a pet. Pet’s have shown to have a tremendous positive effect in relieving stress.
